Alabama Slammer

Rich almond notes, fruity Sloe Gin and fresh orange meld for this fruit-and-nut classic that's perfect for parties – on the rocks or as a shooter.

Ingredients

  • 25mlSloe Gin

  • 25mlSouthern Comfort

  • 25mlAmaretto Liqueur

  • 25mlOrange juice

  • 1 sliceOrange

  • Ice

Equipment

  • 1 x Short glass
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Cocktail Shaker
  • 1 x Jigger

Method

  • Ice

    Fill a cocktail shaker with cubes of ice.

  • Pour

    Using a jigger, measure 25ml Sloe Gin, 25ml Southern Comfort, 25ml Amaretto almond liqueur and 25ml orange juice into the shaker. 

  • Mix

    Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels chilled. Using a cocktail strainer, strain into a short glass over ice cubes.

  • Garnish

    Cut a slice of orange, using a sharp knife and chopping board, and secure to the rim of the glass.
